Information Security Engineer (JS:EWF)

Responsibilities:
Perform computer incident investigations, determining the cause of the security incident and appropriately preserving evidence for potential legal action.
Perform detailed forensic analysis on writable media.
Interface with human resources, technical personnel and others as appropriate.
Make recommendations on the appropriate corrective action for incidents.
Assess artifacts and close incident vulnerability as appropriate -- preserve technical evidence as appropriate.
Produce security incident reports and briefings and distribute to appropriate parties.
Appropriately inform and advise management on incidents and incident prevention.
Analyze potential infrastructure security incidents to determine if incident qualifies as a legitimate security breach.




Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
3+ years information security or workstation experience.
Good understanding of data networking and computer hardware.
Proficient in Excel and Power point.
High-level knowledge of laws related to computer intrusions and data privacy requirements and programming skills.
Understand the chain of custody requirements.
Previous experience with: IIS / Proventia , Checkpoint or NetscreenFirewalls, SQL, Cisco networking equipment , Linux , Java, Microsoft .NET and Windows 2003, 2000, NT.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
